Last Updated: 15 October 2026

ANKR ("ANKR", "we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of our customers, users, and individuals whose personal data may be processed through our platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data when you use the ANKR website, platform, applications, services, integrations, and related products (collectively, the "Services").

ANKR provides software and technology services to businesses, primarily e-commerce merchants. Our Services may include marketing and customer-retention tools, customer communications, reviews, returns and exchanges, customer-support tools, artificial intelligence features, integrations with e-commerce platforms and communication channels, analytics, and related functionality.

1. Our Role in Processing Personal Data

Depending on the circumstances, ANKR may process personal data in different capacities.

ANKR as a Data Controller

ANKR generally acts as a data controller when we determine why and how personal data is processed, including data relating to:

Such information may include customer names, contact details, order information, communication history, product interactions, support enquiries, reviews, return or exchange requests, shipping information, and other data transmitted through integrations enabled by the merchant.

In these circumstances, the merchant is generally responsible for determining the purposes and lawful basis for processing the personal data, and ANKR processes it in accordance with our agreement with that merchant and applicable law.

Individuals seeking to exercise rights relating to data controlled by an ANKR merchant should normally contact that merchant directly.

Where these tools operate using merchant data, ANKR processes the relevant information on behalf of the merchant and in accordance with the merchant's configuration and instructions.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, ANKR will implement measures required under applicable data-protection law to protect that information and lawfully facilitate the transfer.
